cover summer 2009 lo res 252x300 SUMMER 2009The Summer issue will hit newsstands by June 12. Our cover story is an in-depth feature on street artist Mr. Brainwash who is as popular as Kobe Bryant in Los Angeles right now. Hot off his 2008 Life is Beautiful show, that drew 7,000 on opening night, Mr. Brainwash is preparing an epic encore. We hung out in his L.A. studio recently where he painted and pontificated for us. This street artist made us smile like never before – his inspiring story will do the same for you. Also inside the magazine: Dina interviews Matt Damon, Bay Area painter Eric Zener, reduction linocut printmaker Dave Lefner, musician Paolo Nutini, opera singer Paul Potts, plus the photographs from the “Miracle on the Hudson” that U.S. Airways did not want you to see, also our special section “Art 4 Good” – artists giving back to their community during these tough economic times… and much, much more!!!
