My girlfriend, Rudi Faltus', parents were notified that you would be arriving and asked that we meet you and bring you to their house. My girlfriend, Rudi Faltus’, parents were notified that you would be arriving and asked that we meet you and bring you to their house.

I'm a native San Franciscan - and was living in S.F at the time you were. I lived in the Haight when all the hippie happenings, Vietnam, civil rights were going down. The Fillmore & the Avalon & Winterland. Hearing Janis Joplin & Grace Slick & Muddy Waters & Howlin Wolf & Paul Butterfield- in person. Yes, I'm a Blues fan too. What a time, people were really in the process of evolving, social consciousness was at its' peak. How I wish I had been at the San Francisco Art Institute then - I learned about my passion for art later in life. Tonight I was listening to an old recording of an acquaintance/friend of mine from the about 1970 we met , and talked for a few nights , over a few weekends, his name was Michael Bloomfield. I could go on for a while about the conversation at times. Unfortunately it has been a long time almost 40 years, I astound my wife about the things I remember and I tell her that this is the impression Mike left on me. Michael is one of the reasons I became more interested in Blues music and why I have returned to it as a hobby. I now live here in Castro Valley CA I'm still in the Bay Area after all these years.
