51 cadaquez LE BEAU SOLEIL, PACIFIC GROVE, CA.“Light, Clarity, and the Artist’s Eye”: New Exhibit at Le Beau Soleil
featuring Murray Wagnon
MARCH 26 – APRIL 30

Artist Murray Wagnon is the featured artist in this new exhibit entitled “Light, Clarity, and the Artist’s Eye” beginning on Thursday, March 26th, at Le Beau Soleil Gallery in Pacific Grove. Wagnon’s unique view of the landscape presents a world filled with a wash of bright light that nearly fades the scene away. His deliciously pale palette of colors depicts these oil landscapes in full light without a hint of shadow. This is the world apprehended straight on and without compromise. Full of a light easiness, Murray Wagnon’s paintings are a delight.

Also presented in “Light, Clarity, and the Artist’s Eye” are our other talented lovers of painting, the artists of Le Beau Soleil: Teresa Brown continues with a rich vein of floral watercolors in her painting passion, and Carol Bestor’s landscape acrylics beautifully capture the essence of our region in her masterly views of local beauty. Dick Gorman’s abstract watercolors continue to delight and amuse us. Elizabeth Meyer’s subtle and almost dreamy seascapes and landscape impart a lovely sense of peace. Eva Nichols, who continues her world travels, presents her continuing saga of art, full of clarity and light. Kathy Sharpe’s mastery of color, graphic appeal, and workmanship leaves the viewer cheered and satisfied.
