dsc 7831aa 300x199 Convergence IIConvergence II, a show featuring six Monterey Peninsula artists opened on Saturday, June 28th at Oliver Elliott and Sebastian Fine Art in Carmel, California. A couple hundred people toasted the work of Johnny Apodaca, Tom Burns, Andrew Jackson, Patricia Qualls, Michael Snodgrass and Gustavo Torres. The Monterey Peninsula has a rich and storied artistic heritage. For generations artists have found inspiration in the area’s natural beauty – golden hills and coastal vistas, but there is a new energy building and these artists are part of the new wave. Check out the photos in flickr section. If you have an opening and you have some pictures you want to share – send them to editorial@artworksmagazine.com.
